Ivermectin/fenbendazole - New Kids on the Block

Cancer Cure Quackery has been present since time immortal be it Laetrile, colloidal silver, coffee enemas, Gerson Therapy, baking Soda and blah and blah and blah, but this one is really out of syllabus. The reason I am saying so is because all these quacks from Alternative Medicine and related field are a basher of modern medicine and this time, they are favouring modern medicine drug fenbendazole/Ivermectin... I just died laughing!!!

Before I burst the quackery model, let's first understand if Ivermectin/fenbendazole has anti-cancer properties.

The answer is 'yes' and 'no'. Below is the link to the clinical research report, which I will explain in layman's terms.

"IVM can enhance the sensitivity of chemotherapeutic drugs and reduce the production of resistance. Therefore, IVM should be used in combination with other drugs to achieve the best effect, while the specific medication plan used to combine IVM with other drugs remains to be explored."

In vitro (Test tube, Petri dish, etc.) results do indicate that Ivermectin/fenbendazole is like a Russian Roulette for cancer cells, and they die instantly. If we have to go by In Vitro results, then even pomegranate, garlic, ginger, Lycopene, etc. all kill cancer cells.

In Vivo (Animal Model) this is where it gets interesting. Ivermectin has shown when used in conjunction with existing approved cancer drugs it increases the efficiency of the drugs. Put in lay man's term supposes ABC drug for Brest cancer is currently only 50% effective but when used in conjunction with Ivermectin its efficiency increases to let's say 70%. The researchers still found some issue and the conclusion was more research needs to be done so that it can used better with existing cancer medicines. So Ivermectin does not kill cancer cell it assists existing drugs. Period!!!

Modus Operandi: - Quacks will make videos on SS and state they had cancer, or they know someone who had cancer, and it got treated with Ivermectin/fenbendazole without any Chemo/Radiation or surgery. Then there will hundreds of testimonials who vouch for it, mostly fake id's created for propaganda. Desperate people fall prey to these testimonials. In search of cure, they will reach out to these quacks to know how much dose to take, any specific diet to be followed and so on. The standard reply will be "Sure I can help you, but there is a specific dose and diet to be followed. I can make the plan for you, and it will cost you XYZ. Out of desperation the person will fall for it. Another one bites the Dust!

Let's bust one pro claimer of Ivermectin/fenbendazole:

Joe Tippins who is/was going all gaga how he cured his cancer with Ivermectin/fenbendazole has been hiding the fact that he was part of the cancer immunotherapy drug "Keytruda" which put him in remission. He even runs a website about the protocol he followed and remember running a website is not cheap, so what he is/was after. Is he alive or dead.... it's unclear.

The majority of health advice found on social media is inaccurate, ranging from cancer to simple fatty liver. Don't blindly follow, reach out to science research database, like Pubmed, HIN, etc., seasoned Doctors, and if you can't make head and tail of long scientific documents just give me a shout, I will break it down for you.
